Next Stop: Unknown

We are flying from Seattle to Kathmandu… via Chicago and New Dehli.  The flight is loooong…..  33 hours total time… but, I think only 17 or 18 in the air….

Ok, so I caved.  Jenn wanted a netbook to take with us… So, after doing some research, we ordered the Asus 1000HE.  Thoughts so far…. heavier than expected.  It’s 3.6lbs with the extended battery.  Although, 9 hours of unplugged time seems pretty good!  It’s not nearly as speedy as the Lenovo x200s I’ve been using for work, but, it’s also 1/4th the price.  Anyway, trying to get all the software I need installed… so, crossing fingers to see if this post works!  (Btw, I’m using MS Live Writer so we can write offline, then publish when we have a connection)
