The end of a paycheck

Toasts have been made, desks have been packed. Good bye to our co-workers in Seattle; we’ll miss you! The paychecks are over and now the real work begins.

We are flying from Seattle to Kathmandu… via Chicago and New Dehli. The flight is loooong….. 33 hours total time… but, I think only 17 or 18 in the air….
First post from the netbook

Ok, so I caved. Jenn wanted a netbook to take with us… So, after doing some research, we ordered the Asus 1000HE. Thoughts so far…. heavier than expected. It’s 3.6lbs with the extended battery. Although, 9 hours of unplugged time seems pretty good! It’s not nearly as speedy as the Lenovo x200s I’ve been using for work, but, it’s also 1/4th the price. Anyway, trying to get all the software I need installed… so, crossing fingers to see if this post works! (Btw, I’m using MS Live Writer so we can write offline, then publish when we have a connection)
