Dan Brown books are an excellent read. But you may have already experienced those. For the fantasy lover you y’all i have recently found the ‘Sword of Truth’ series by Terry Goodkind. It’s a series in line with Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time.

Glad to hear you finished the Potter series. I’m a huge fan.

While you’re in the bootleg capitol of the world, you should look into a BBC TV series called ‘Skins’. The star of Slumdog Millionaire is in it and it’s quite an entertaining time.

The new Dan Brown book “Lost Symbol” was a good read in true Dan Brown style. I downloaded it by accident while trying to figure out my Kindle and I loved it!

I know it sounds silly… but the Twilight series was a nice “mindless” read. I just finished all four in less than 2 weeks. They totally pull you in and trap you! :)

So what did you think of Wizard’s First Rule? Scott and I really like the series. :-)

What did you think of the Teachings of Don Juan?I read it years and years ago and loved it.The other books in that series are also very good.

I suggest anything by C.J. Cherryh, but the series that starts with Foreigner is the most popular and most recent.

Terry Brooks has put out a series that starts with Armageddon’s Children that combines his Knight of the Word series with his Shannara series. Basically how his world of Shannara came about, the story of the old world wars.

I used to love Terry Goodkind. Might I suggest, stop reading after the 4th one? Then it becomes so politically driven and not in a good way, instead of action and story based. Also, HULU has the first season of “Legend of the Seeker” based off of these. It is just the first book, but it’s suppose to be a series that starts off weak, but if very good at the end.

If you like the light, fast, and entertaining kid’s reads, I would recommend Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events. I can read about a book per hour and a half depending on length. Very engaging and entertaining writing.

I am reading The Year of Living Biblically by AJ Jacobs. It’s hysterical. He is a write for Esquire magazine who decides to literally live by the Bible for one year.
